Essential Duties and Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)
- Assist the Bus Driver in maintaining discipline on the bus
- Assist and monitor children while bus is in operation
- Assist Bus Driver in documentation of children’s information, record keeping
- Assist parents and center personnel with safe loading and unloading of children
- Coordinate seating of children as required by State Transportation guidelines
- Communicate with Teacher Aides, Teachers, and parents concerning child behavior and medical problems
- Ability to respond to inquiries, requests, or complaints
- Maintain current knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures
- Maintain standards of confidentiality of CC Idaho clients and records
- Perform all work duties and activities in accordance with CC Idaho policies, procedures, and safety practice
Qualifications
- Required
- Ability to read, speak, and write in both English/Spanish in a business setting
- Current driver's license and proof of auto insurance
- Must pass physical examination and background checks, including state day care clearance
- Must obtain clearance of Tuberculosis
- Must obtain First Aid and CPR certification
- Future Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Infant/Toddler and Preschool Child Development Associate credential (CDA)
