Job Summary: The Payroll Coordinator will process weekly payroll and maintain employee time records. This position reports to the Payroll Services Manager. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Enters, maintains, and/or processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees' commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, and other information * Reviews, edits, approves/signoffs and exports time worked from time keeping system * Ensures proper processing of all stipends and expense reimbursements * Enters and ensures proper processing of payroll garnishments * Verifies that benefits deductions and taxes have been withheld * Issues, or reissues, physical or replacement checks or direct deposits due to payroll issues or final discharge * Generates and manages stop payment and repayment agreements * Balances and validates payroll totals and identifies any variances * Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: * High school diploma or equivalent required * At least two years of experience in payroll required * Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail * Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software * Experience with payroll software, UKG preferred Other: * Ability and availability to work irregular or extended hours including nights, weekends and potentially holidays as needed We are excited to share the base hourly rate for this position is $23.78-$31.71 an hour. NFI takes into consideration applicants' qualifications, experience, education, geographic location, when determining a starting rate of pay.
