WinnCompanies is looking for a Part-Time Cleaner to join our team. You will be assisting 196 units between two affordable housing sites: Canterbrook Village in Shelbyville, TN, and Franklin Place in Tullahoma, TN.

In this role, you will perform cleaning functions to ensure the appearance and physical condition of the properties are maintained to ownership and management expectations.

Please note that this is a Part-time opportunity whose schedule consists of 24 hours per week working 6-hour days for 4 days per week. This position offers a pay of $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

    • Perform day-to-day tasks, which include, but are not limited to: cleaning office, windows, walls, floors, stairwells, laundry rooms, bathrooms, common areas, hallways, elevators, and carpets.
    • Empty trash cans, sweep sidewalks, set up hoses, rake lawns and flower beds, plant flowers, and install mulch.
    • Prepare all trash and recycling, including bulk items, for removal by city sanitation.
    • Perform each cleaning function in accordance with the property's prescribed daily schedule.
    • Painting vacant units.
    • Clean vacant units.
    • Perform other cleaning functions as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
    • Less than 1 year of relevant work experience.
    • Ability to understand spoken and written English.
    • Ability to respond to requests in a timely and respectful manner.
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Ability to work with a diverse group of people and personalities.
    • Prior experience using floor scrubbers and buffers.
    • Ability to paint units as requested.
    • Must have dependable transportation to work between two sites.
    • Ability to do heavy lifting and other physical movements, including, but not limited to: standing/walking, repetitive use of hands, climbing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, etc.
Preferred Qualifications
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
