Specialty Practice Nurse - Pain Clinic

We are seeking a Specialty Practice Nurse to join our Pain Clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible and accountable for the independent planning, organization, implementation and evaluation of Ambulatory Specialty Practice patients. This full-time position offers sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement opportunities.

  • Patient Care: Perform all Nursing duties, assist in specialty clinic, coordinate all activities of the specialty related to patient care.
  • Liaison: Serve as liaison between patient/family and various members of the health care team
  • Educator: Counsel and teach families regarding medical conditions, diagnostic procedures, medication control, and other interventions. Conduct professional and public speaking engagements for educational and public relations purposes.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the specialty team about the candidacy of potential patients. Coordination with community physicians on the daily care of specialty patient.
  • Reports & Policies: Provide statistical reports as needed, maintain established departmental policies and procedures, objectives, and quality assurance programs and provide input and assist in the formulation of departmental policies and procedures and budget as requested.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate.
  • Experience: 3 years directly related experience
  • Credentials: RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM. CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days.
  • Physical Conditions: Medium Work.
  • Working Conditions: Sig Hazard: Chemicals, Bio Hazardous Materials req PPE. May work rotating shifts, holidays and weekends.
