Job Description -

FIPS 140-2 compliance- assessment and verification (This is Mandatory)

Key Responsibilities:

Highly skilled and experienced PKI, Cryptography Technical Expert to assess and evaluate readiness of FIPS 140-2 compliance in Hardware Assets this includes Identification of KMIP-Compliant Key Management Servers and assessing their readiness for FIPS compliance.

Installation and Configuration of FIPS-2 standards for Hardware assets with KMIP Client Software to facilitates communication between the server/Assets and the KMIP-compliant key management server.

Document the entire configuration process, including settings, configurations, and any challenges encountered during configurations between assets and KMIP Key management server.

Ensure PKI compliance with industry standards and regulations (Ex: NIST, FIPS, ISO 27K, etc) to implement security best practices to protect cryptographic materials.

Conduct security assessments and audits of the PKI environment to protect against key compromise and data breaches.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Strong expertise in Cryptography and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) technologies and concepts. Familiarity with encryption and digital signature standards (e.g., RSA, ECC, SHA-256) and working Knowledge with KMIP Client Software
  • Previous experience in assessment, evaluation and documentation of Hardware assets for FIPS 140-2 compliance
  • Knowledge and understanding of programming languages such as C++, Python and Visual Basic
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
