$10,000 sign on bonus available POSITION SUMMARY: Performs nuclear medicine procedures and patient care services Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Utilizes ALARA principles during examinations. Implements radiation protection and safety standards. Prepares and administers radioactive material and/or medications within the scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. EDUCATION/TRAINING: Minimum: Completion of accredited school of nuclear medicine technology Preferred: Experience as a hospital nuclear medicine technologist # Must provide copy of diploma/degree for highest level of education obtained LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Certification by ARRT in Nuclear Medicine or current NMTCB certification.# Current license from IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency). CPR certification required within three (3) months of hire.
