Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting principles, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions, including processing invoices, issuing payments, and reconciling accounts
• Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers
• Assist in month-end and year-end close procedures
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
• Assist with payroll processing and related tasks
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Support auditors during internal and external audits
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Accounting Manager or Supervisor

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 2+ years experience in an accounting or finance role is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a non-profit organization is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
