This employer will be on-site conducting interviews at our Multi-Industry Job Fair which will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, at Upper Bucks County Technical School, 3115 Ridge Rd., Perkasie, PA 18944. The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling and building of food packaging / processing machinery. Skill-Set Must have all tools required to build machines and knowledge of their use. Above average mechanical skills. Have knowledge of pneumatic systems. The ability to read and understand blueprints. Experience setting up and running manual milling machines, lathes, drill presses and other shop equipment. Must have good computer skills. Must have good time management skills. The following experience is a plus: Part and component inspection Test equipment operation and use Knowledge of motion control systems (servo & stepper motor and drives) Knowledge of ac/dc motors and controls Welding skills Ability to read / understand schematics and wiring control panels Experience with process control devices, PLC's, sensors, etc. Communication Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work with other assemblers, engineers, machinists, wiremen, technicians and supervisors. Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks as directed. Good oral / written communication skills. ' Personality Must be highly detail oriented; attentive to accuracy, efficiency and neatness. Demonstrates cooperation and willingness to take instruction. High degree of flexibility and willingness to work on a wide variety of projects and tasks. Displays enthusiasm and a positive attitude. Daily Routines include: Assembling and building machinery. Work with engineers on designs and any issues Advise on future design Other duties and responsibilities as directed and assigned.
