The lead tech accomplishes these tasks by working with Wedgewood Pharmacy's management team and all other staff employees in fulfilling his/her responsibilities and duties.Essential Functions:Package all preparations into final containers according to company policies and procedures under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist.Learn the functions of MAS500 tasksManage proc not limited to backorders and prioritiesManage inventory needs Mentor new/struggling technicians in their packaging abilitiesLearn the ticketing system for IT and Facility issuesLearn how to fill out incident reportsLead Continuous Improvements and changeover reductionsOrganize/6S 012Flexible work schedule Assist Pack Lab Supervisors as neededLearn and adhere to all safety and operating instructions when working with packaging equipment.Troubleshoot issues in EBR and equipmentAssist in prioritizing batch schedules to satisfy customer demand and minimize out of stock situationsWhen working in the lab the operator will adhere to all safety guidelines including, but not limited to, lab coats, gloves, protective eyewear, and mask as defined by SOP.Provide regular feedback to supervisor on ways to improve systems and processes for Packaging Lab production, quality control, and safetyFollow all Wedgewood policies, procedures, and SOPsRequired Skills & Abilities:Proven ability to plan, prioritize, and manage workflow, processes, and plans.Display and accept accountabilityExcellent problem solving, analysis, and communication skillsCustomer (internal and external) focusPositive, Respectful, and Professional attitudePays strict attention to detailUnderstands and reacts with a sense of urgencyVery good organization with an attention to neatnessAdaptable and ability to move with change while maintaining a positive attitude. Must be able to work, without restriction, with all chemicals used in the packaging process.Must be registered with the state of New Jersey as a pharmacy technician.Ability to work extended hours and any days outside of normal work schedule Physical Requirements (if applicable):The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
