SUPERHEROES WANTED Top-tier law firm SIDDIQUI LAW APC seeks a full-time Associate Attorney for its Orange County (Costa Mesa, CA) Office. A successful applicant will possess a minimum of 1+ year experience with a background in litigation.

Requires knowledge of state and federal procedures and court rules. Duties include: court appearances, legal research, legal drafting, law & motion preparation, trial preparation, and other case related assignment duties. Requires a strong communicator (written/ verbal skills). Position requires a team player with strong work ethic. Salary depends on experience. Excellent benefits. Team environment.

Firm Practice Areas: Litigation, Civil & Business, Corporate, Real Estate, Entertainment, Intellectual Property, Employment, Criminal Defense, Civil Rights, Construction.

Summary of Responsibilities:

Court Appearances: Trial/ pre-trial hearings/ law & motion

Law & Motion drafting; legal and factual research; organize and analyze case information

Research and identify relevant judicial decisions, statutes, codes and case law

Prepare and draft legal documents (briefs, pleadings, agreements, contracts, applications, legal forms, correspondence, declarations, motions, discovery, subpoenas, and legal memoranda)

Trial preparation (witness lists, exhibits, pre-trial motions, trial binders, witness interviews)

Qualifications:

Juris Doctor Degree from ABA accredited law school; Undergraduate degree

License to practice law; good standing with the California State Bar

1+ year litigation experience
