  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of operation and maintenance of implanted cardiac devices and related equipment
  • Ensures that OSHA and Joint Commission regulations are observed and maintained
  • Ability to identify abnormal/critical findings and immediately notify physician
  • Confirm daily schedule
  • Perform implanted cardiac device checks by phone, office visit or remote
  • Scan reports into EMR system and prepare charges
  • Complete knowledge of Medicare implanted cardiac device check regulations/frequency
  • Proper sterile technique in removal of sutures/staples
  • Maintain necessary supplies for performance of duties
  • Coordinate implanted cardiac device clinic schedule with physician visits if necessary
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all departments and physicians
  • Any other tasks requested by the physician or Practice Manager
  • Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
Minimum Education
High School Graduate or Equivalent required
Bachelors Degree preferred
Minimum Work Experience
3-5 years of experience in functions of various types of implanted cardiac devices.
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
