Virtus Healthcare Staffing is partnering with a leading Level II Trauma Center in Apple Valley, CA to find a top-notch Registered Nurse (RN) to join their dynamic Emergency Room (ER) team.

About the Opportunity:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled RN to play a vital role in a Level II Trauma Center. You will work alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, providing exceptional care to patients experiencing a wide range of medical emergencies and traumas.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including triage and prioritization.

Administer medications, fluids, and blood products intravenously.

Perform emergency procedures such as wound irrigation, splinting, and CPR.

Monitor vital signs and implement interventions to stabilize patients.

Collaborate effectively with physicians, ER technicians, and other healthcare team members.

Provide compassionate and patient-centered care, ensuring a positive patient experience.

Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in the electronic health record (EHR).

Maintain a safe and sterile work environment.

Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted California RN license.

Minimum 2 years of experience in a fast-paced emergency room setting.

Proven experience in critical thinking, prioritization, and decision-making under pressure.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

Strong assessment and clinical skills.

Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.

Commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care.

Current certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support), and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) are mandatory.
