Medical Technologist Opportunity

The Medical Technologist will perform various laboratory tests and procedures to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine and specialized laboratory tests on patient specimens.

Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.

Analyze test results and accurately report findings to healthcare providers.

Follow established protocols and procedures to ensure quality control and patient safety.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Maintain accurate records of tests performed and results obtained.

Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in medical technology and laboratory practices.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

Certification as a Medical Technologist (MT) or Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) preferred.

Minimum of two years of experience working in a clinical laboratory setting.

Proficiency in performing various laboratory tests, including hematology, chemistry, microbiology, and immunology.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
