GRH0568 - RN Psychiatric - Savannah, GA - 13 Weeks Contract Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for an experienced Psychiatric RN to work for our contracted facility.Shift information: 11 :00 AM - 11:00 PMResponsibilities: Gaging patients' psychiatric states. Collaborating on psychiatric intervention plans. Administering psychotropic and similar medications. Monitoring adherence to non-medicinal treatment regimens. Removing potentially harmful and triggering environmental features. Restraining, consoling, and sometimes medicating highly unsettled patients. Recording patients' health journeys and reporting on notable alterations. Conducting targeted psycho education, particularly within families. Will be exposed to patients that may have COVID or work on units with COVID Patients. Requirements: Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, BSN preferred. BLS (AHA) Must have current licensure as an RN Must possess knowledge of general and psychiatric nursing processes, therapeutic relationships and processes Also have knowledge of age-specific growth and development, limit setting, behavior and crisis management and CPR training. Also certified in CPI Familiarity with cultural perceptions about psychiatric difficulties. Well-honed triaging, diagnostic, and clinical judgment capacities. Superb interpersonal and collaboration abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Resilience, immense empathy, and resolution.
