DESCRIPTION: The Sales Associate is responsible for acquiring leads and managing opportunities contributing to the conversion of opportunities to sales. Collaboratively work with the Versant team to develop and implement sales strategies. Uses data to manage current state and drive future decisions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Demonstrate Health Care and Client Acumen

- Have a thorough understanding of the healthcare market, specifically, the opportunities where Versant can provide solutions for healthcare leaders around workforce development.

- Conduct market research and competition analysis; Data and information should inform market differentiation.

- Demonstrates bias for action and innovation; Attentive to small changes and trends in healthcare and among competitors.

- Manage leads and opportunities

- Able to manage the forward pipeline which is focused on the future development of sales ultimately impacting later forecasts.

- Track future forecast collaboratively with Versant team

- Demonstrates empathy and understanding of the customer. Uses a customer-focused sales process.

- Technology proficient, able to manage CRM and other basic office technology (e.g., MS Suites)

- Effectively deliver sales presentations virtually and in-person.

- Implementation of sales strategy

- Identify opportunities for Versant solutions to integrate in current clients workforce development strategy beyond current partnership.

- Communicates to leadership and team members findings and trends that can impact how we effectively consult, manage clients, and enhance programs.
