Lead LPN

LEAD LPN Primary Purpose:The Lead LPN serves as the main liason between the Unit Manager/Nurse Supervisor and the LPNs. Main duties include training new LPNs, monitoring LPN assignments, and rallying the team to provide quality service.Shifts available: 3-11 and 11-7Specific functions:•Assist residents with their personal care needs•Ensure LPNs are able to complete their assignments•Coach the team members in providing quality service that is aligned with the values of the company•Ensure a pleasant environment for residents and their family members•Provide orientation and review of clinical skills to help develop competencies of LPN peers•Assist the Nursing Supervisor/Unit Manager in orienting and training new LPNs•Assist in providing reeducation for LPNs that are unable to meet the standard of care of the company•Participate in the LPN hiring process and other administrative tasks as needed•Provide input to Nursing department heads for the improvement of resident care#INDarista
