Perform clerical and receptionist duties.Responsibilities: Print and interpret rhythm strips every eight hours and place in patient's chart each shift; alert nursing personnel of rhythm changes or new occurrences and obtain a graphic tracing for eachAccountable for alarm limit settings on the monitorsFollow policies for placing telemetry leads on patients; troubleshoot any telemetry problemsCompile new and current charts; enter patient information on chart and KardexPerform clerical duties related to admission and discharge of patientsAnswer telephone and intercom, take messages and communicate information to appropriate person; call and follow-up with consultantsAssist visitors on the nursing unitsMonitor Technician Technician Monitor Tech Monitor QualificationsEducation: High School diploma or General Equivalency Diploma.Licenses/Certification:Current CPR certification- must obtain within 90 days of hireCompletion of Telemetry Training highly desirableExperience:1 year#J-18808-Ljbffr
