Job Description

Our partner is dedicated to serving our veterans, fire and rescue, and fraternal nonprofit organizations throughout Pennsylvania. They make impactful contributions to the organizations and communities they serve through specialized fundraising in the form of games of chance, offering a variety of coin board games, tickets, and cash star prizes.

As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Your role will involve handling financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and supporting the financial needs of multiple companies within our organization.

Responsibilities

Prepare accounting records by compiling and analyzing account information.

Reconcile company's financial records to help ensure accuracy of financial statements.

Post financial transactions to accounts and prepare financial statements.

Study financial trends to determine future business needs.

Process payroll and manage invoicing.

Record and process deposits accurately.

Manage the books for three companies within our organization.

Prepare required state licenses for our industry.

Create purchase orders to facilitate procurement processes.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in accounting, business, or a related field.

Strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook), with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks; experience with other tax preparation and accounting software.
