APN Healthcare Solutions is urgently hiring Sleep Technicians for our Direct client in Binghamton, NY for 13 weeks contract.

Position Title : Sleep Technician (Sleep Tech)
Work Location: Binghamton, NY
Shift: Night (two 13 1/2 hour days followed by one 13-hour day)
Hours Per Week: 36 Hours
Contract duration: 13 weeks

Required:
  • Associates Degree.
  • NYS Licensed Respiratory Therapist
  • New York State RpSgt
  • NY Certification
  • Previous Sleep Medicine
Job Description
  • Night Tech positions are on a rotating day basis including weekends. They work two 13 1/2 hour days followed by one 13-hour day. The days rotate between the teams, and they do work weekends.
  • A sleep technician facilitates sleep studies.
  • The responsibilities for a sleep technician job include explaining the parameters of the study to patients, answering patient questions, documenting patient information, and preparing the equipment and tools necessary to complete the study.
  • Sleep technicians are also responsible for maintaining client confidentiality, working with clinicians to convey and interpret study findings, and implementing best practices before, during, and after the sleep study procedures.
