Job Summary

Under the direction of a physician, performs a variety of cardiac ultrasound procedures that require independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative in the creation of technically diagnostic exams for interpretation by a cardiologist.

Performs routineplete and limited echocardiograms as well as stress echocardiograms

Assists cardiologist during transesophageal echocardiograms

Prepares all equipment necessary to perform patient exams appropriately

Communicates effectively and professionally with patients, visitors and families, as well as staff and physicians.

Job Requirements

Degree of certificate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education accredited sonography program required

Registered in cardiac ultrasound by the ARDMS or CCI required

BLS required

Maintains current NH state licensure in imaging
