Join us and discover why Modern Healthcare Magazine named us in its "Top 100 Places to Work."Overview:The MRI Staff Technologist works under the supervision of the Administrative Supervisor and/or Director, and operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images used by physicians in the diagnosis and treatments of pathologies Selects appropriate imaging techniques and operates console and peripheral hardware; enters and monitors patient data, transfers images from disk to PACS.Qualifications:Education: Secondary and some post-secondary. Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology Program.Licensure: ARRT in Radiography, or if new graduate registry eligible. ARRT (MR) Registry or required within 18 months of hire.Certifications: BLS Basic Life Support Within 3 Months Of Hire.Other: Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
