The Lead Driver role entails overseeing a team of 3+ employees/drivers, providing safety guidance, training, and coaching as required. This position involves actively participating in the delivery and retrieval of Mobile Mini Storage Units and Offices, collaborating closely with dispatch and branch leadership. Additionally, responsibilities include preparing, receiving, and managing documentation for timely delivery or pick-up of goods. The Lead Driver also maintains communication with the dispatcher to receive instructions or updates on scheduled deliveries or pick-ups.

Class A CDL Driver | Local | Home Daily

Equipment used:
  • Tractor trailers: Both hydraulic and gas powered.
  • Unit trailers
  • Telephone, radio, handheld dispatch equipment & computers.
  • Load pulling/load securement chains, straps, winch.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • At least 21 years of age
  • 5+ Years CDL-A experience with heavy truck driving and towing trailers/cargo
  • Valid Class A commercial vehicle operator's license (issued by one state or jurisdiction)
  • Valid medical certificate and is physically qualified to drive a commercial motor vehicle.
  • Ability to read and speak English to speak to your team and customers, drive and understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and make entries to reports and records.
