When hospitals cannot provide the advanced care, expertise and new treatment options their patients require, they turn to us. *Job Summary:* Uses molecular biologic methods to diagnose and characterize acquired and inherited diseases, including the diagnosis of malignant, metabolic, and infectious diseases. Uses advanced techniques, including sequencing and proteomic analysis, with applications in personalized medicine. * Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college/university with a major in biological science or chemistry, * Or, Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college/university with a combination of 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) in biology and chemistry, which may be obtained within, or in addition to, the Bachelor's degree * ASCP eligible for certification in molecular biology within 2 years of hire * Must have excellent word processing, medical terminology and be able to read, speak and write the English language.
