EOE Position Information: The Polysomnographic Technologist performs comprehensive overnight Polysomnographic testing provides appropriate patient care throughout the testing process and completes scoring and analysis of Polysomnographic test results. Greets and orients patients to the Sleep Lab. Explains pre-testing testing and post-testing procedures to patient and addresses patient questions and/or concerns referring patient to provider as appropriate. Reviews patient history and physical information medications procedure request and study protocol. Completes and verifies documentation. Verifies integrity of collected data. Completes data collection process including repeating calibrations and assisting patient in completion of paperwork. Demonstrates knowledge of and competency in Polysomnographic testing and a proven ability to utilize standard Polysomnographic equipment within a team structure and ability to communicate effectively with patients staff and physicians. Experience Requirements: 2 Years Direct Position Experience Required Education Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required - And Graduate Related Field Required - With Required Licensure/Certification - And Associate's Degree Preferred Licensure/Certification Requirements: Registered Polysomnography Technologist Required - And Basic Life Support Required Hours of Work: 40 Weekend Requirements: As Needed Call Requirements: variable
