RWJ Barnabas Health is looking for a new Per Diem Pharmacist for one of our Pharmacy locations. This positoin will be located at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, NJ.

• BA/BS in Pharmacy

• NJ Pharmacy License

  
  

• Pharm degree and residency training preferred

• The Registered Pharmacist is responsible for the provision of pharmaceutical care to all patient age groups, including geriatric, adult, adolescent, pediatric and neonatal patients,

• The position is responsible for the preparation, dispensing, and monitoring of both the prescribing and effectiveness of all medications and IV admixtures,

• The registered Pharmacist also provides, when needed, clinical services such as patient counseling, education, consults, and Medication Therapy Management,

• The position is also responsible for identifying and reporting hazardous environments or safety issues and medical errors to appropriate personnel,

• The position is also responsible for any other assigned tasks, as appropriate,
