**Job Description**

Serve as a single point of contact for current Order Management clients and assist them from inception of the purchase order, to the consolidation and transportation process, through final delivery. Perform

these functions in accordance to Operational Performance Standards and provide excellent customer service throughout the process.

**Duties and Responsibilities, including but not limited to:**

* Responsible for maintaining current and clear Desk Level Standard Operating Procedures, along with communicating any changes to Expeditors origin branches

* Proactively monitor various reporting platforms such as PO status reports, vendor performance

reports, consolidation opportunities, utilization reports, etc.

* Monitor exception reporting to capture bookings pending approval, PO rejections, outbound ASN EDIerrors, etc.

* Troubleshoot technical issues with assistance of internal service desk team

* Ensure timely and accurate download of vessel manifest through EDI transmission by origin in

order to enable client to track and manage orders

* Work in conjunction with ocean, air, transcon, and customs brokerage departments within Expeditors to ensure effective communication to client-base

* Responsible for customer invoicing activities

* Analyze existing data and processes to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved

efficiencies

* Provide customized reporting directly to customer base, as requested

* Serve as main customer-facing contact for all Importer Security Filing (10+2) activities

* Keep clients abreast of current market situations, such as port strikes, embargos, port congestion,

etc.

**Qualifications**

* Ability to relate to clients, suppliers and employees at all levels of an organization

* Self-motivated and able to effectively multi-task & manage time usage

* Ability to work in semi-structured environment, inclusive of daily mandatory tasks, in addition to

long-term projects

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Excellent problem solving skills

* Willingness to learn and develop industry skills

* Comfortable with data entry and report monitoring

* Empowered to make quick decisions in response to changing conditions

* Meet company standards of 52 hours of training annually

* Basic EDI knowledge preferred

* PC skills including advanced skills in spreadsheet (pivot tables, V-Lookup, etc.) and desktop

database applications (Excel, Access, etc.), PowerPoint, Word, & Outlook
