ControlPoint Technologies is seeking all levels of Electrical Drafters and Designers to support our Electric Power Engineering teams based in either our Rockland, MA or Mansfield, MA offices.

The position will include project drafting & design along with technical contributions to projects for electric utility transmission and distribution systems with voltage levels from 24VDC to 345 kVAC.

Responsibilities Include, depending on experience:

  • Electrical System drafting & design including layouts, plans, sections and details, grounding, lightning protection, arrangements, interior and exterior raceways/conduit & cable tray, AC/DC power systems, and bills of material.
  • Support engineering and design related to Civil/Structural; including structural and foundation drawings.
  • Overhead (utility pole) and Underground (ductbank & manhole) electrical distribution system drafting & design.
  • Coordination of engineering project deliverables with stakeholders
Qualifications for the Role:
  • High School Diploma
  • Courses in Drafting - Proficiency in AutoCad and MicroStation preferred
  • Experience in electrical infrastructure physical design a plus
