WHO:

Cascade Trauma and Acute Care Surgery (CTACS) is looking for an experienced Advanced Practice Provider (ARNP or PA-C) with experience in Trauma, General Surgery or Surgical Critical Care to join our growing team

WHERE:

Located in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, Tacoma is the heart of the Puget Sound Metropolitan area. The city itself rests on the shores of Commencement Bay and the Puget Sound and between the Olympic and Cascade Mountain ranges. This allows for easy access to skiing, hiking, boating, fishing, and a multitude of other outdoor activities. Tacoma is within a few hours of some of the world's best wineries.

WHEN:

Full-time employment is thirteen 12-hour shifts each month.

Cascade Trauma and Acute Care Services (CTACS) staffs MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, a designated Level II trauma center in the South Sound region. We have a dedicated surgical ICU with 24-hour physician coverage. Trauma and acute care surgery is a busy, expanding service with full subspecialty support and requires procedural abilities (chest tubes, central lines, fracture reduction, etc.), first assisting in the OR, floor rounds, discharge planning, and complex wound care. Patient complexity and acuity is high as Tacoma General Hospital is the tertiary hospital for the region. Our surgeons and Advanced Practice Providers are a tight knit group who value high quality care and a fun team environment.
