ARIZONA FOOT & ANKLE SPECIALISTS, LLC is a podiatry practice located in Goodyear, AZ. Our team of podiatrist's provides the highest quality of expert care for just about all conditions that affect the foot, ankle, and lower legs, including but not limited to bunions, heel pain, ingrown toenails, bunions, hammertoes, neuromas, fractures, sprains, strains, and other injuries, various tendinitis conditions, multiple pediatric conditions, at risk or diabetic foot care, as well as many other foot and ankle conditions. Our goal is to improve the quality of life for our patients by providing the highest level of care and attention to each individual's needs.

Role Description

We are looking for a licensed podiatrist ready to start IMMEDIATELY, either part-time such as 2-3 days a week or full-time 5 days a week (Mon-Fri). It will be an on-site role for a Podiatrist at ARIZONA FOOT & ANKLE SPECIALISTS, LLC in Goodyear, AZ. The Podiatrist will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating multiple foot and ankle conditions by the best means necessary to get the patient back on their feet quickly with the least amount of down time. We have a host of treatment options and tools or ancillary services to help patients such as digital x-ray, mini C-arm, diagnostic ultrasound, PAD testing equipment (PADnet and SMART ABI), neurological testing equipment, MLS Robotic Laser therapy for all sorts of pain and inflammation conditions, EPAT therapy both focused and radial therapies with a very high success rate, Remy Laser toenail therapy, MIST therapy by two different means, Swift Microwave therapy for warts and other hyperkeratotic lesions, Cryotherapy for skin lesions and warts, and in-office operative suite with power equipment for either open or MIS procedures. The Podiatrist will also be responsible for creating treatment plans and we have protocols for most conditions to help with the initial several treatments, maintaining proper documentation, prescribing medications, and performing surgeries when necessary. We have worked hard to provide an opportunity for the provider to have all the equipment and tools to help them be successful in getting their patients back to where they want to be and also provide a good quality of life for both family and financially.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in Medicine and Podiatry including surgery
  • Regarding surgery we want someone capable of doing open traditional surgery, but anyone that has MIS training or wants to learn traditional MIS surgery is preferred
  • Knowledge of Biomechanics and Orthotics
  • Experience in treating patients with Diabetes
  • Ability to provide compassionate care to patients
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in Spanish is desirable, but not required
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate patient records
  • Board qualification and/or certification by ABFAS and ABPM is preferred
  • Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited school
  • Completion of a podiatry residency program
  • Current license to practice podiatry in the state of Arizona
