JOB SUMMARY The Laboratory#Technologist will contribute to the accurate and timely diagnosis of a patient#s medical conditions by performing, evaluating, and submitting test results on samples. They will be responsible for#showing consistency and accuracy performing routing testing as required in one or more of the following lab sections: Blood Bank, Histology, Hematology, Urinalysis, Bacteriology, Chemistry, and occasional Phlebotomy duties.# They will accurately perform specialized testing (e.g. therapeutic phlebotomy, assisting at needle aspirations or bone marrows, running the PHD analyzer, etc.) as required. JOB REQUIREMENTS Education: 2-Year Associates degree required MLT or MT (ASCP) certification required within 6 months of hire.
