**Overview**

As a Radiologic Technologist under the direction of the Medical Director you will perform technical diagnostic imaging procedures and explaining pre and post diagnostic procedures to patients.

Every day you will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and educate patients on the imaging services being received.

**The Woodlands Hospital**

a primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, womens services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries) and surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorders. Clinical affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Centers Radiation Treatment Center, and Texas Childrens Hospital.

**This role is PRN schedule to work weekdays, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.**

**Responsibilities**

+ OR procedures requiring radiographic support

+ Portable radiologic examinations

+ Patient orientation

+ Starting IVs and drawing labs

**Qualifications**

+ Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - ARRT (R); must maintain current

+ Certified by Texas Department of Health as Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist

MRT

+ BLS certification
