Job Description:

Responsible for performing a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations which may include skilled hand work or utilizing automated production equipment. Comprehends and interprets a variety of technical specifications, terms, and documents. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.

Essential Functions:
  • Possess the ability to work as part of a team and to have a positive attitude is essential.
  • Must be able to work independently, interpret assembly drawings and follow verbal/written work instructions to produce a high-quality unit within the allotted time frame.
  • Must have good computer skills with Word and Excel to be able to open and modify documents.
  • Ability to follow standard procedures.
Qualifications:

Requires fully proficient job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/associate degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:
  • Familiar with Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience with ERP business systems
