Overview:

Plumber II inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains plumbing fixtures and piping in heating, water and drainage systems. Identifies plumbing and safety problems applicable to the installation and takes necessary corrective action using appropriate parts and tools.

Plumber II inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains plumbing fixtures and piping in heating, water and drainage systems. Identifies plumbing and safety problems applicable to the installation and takes necessary corrective action using appropriate parts and tools. Being a Plumber II complies with all required safety, building code and inspection requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, and other instructions. Additionally, Plumber II has completed required apprenticeship. Typically requires a high school diploma.

The Plumber II works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. To be a Plumber II typically requires 1-3 years of related experience.
