Come join our Awesome Herd of Veterinary Professionals at Red Star Veterinary Clinic...Our friendly team-oriented mixed animal (Equine) veterinary practice focuses on providing compassionate and quality veterinary service. We are presently a four-doctor ambulatory and haul-in clinic practice in Ohio where you truly get to enjoy all four seasons and the friendly midwestern culture. Our established practice is stable and still growing. We offer an on-staff Wellness Life Coach on site as an additional benefit to all our team members. and a Good Sam Fun. We feel itis important for clients to pay their bills promptly and fully so we can continue to take care of our team members. To help with that "special" financially restricted case(s), each veterinarian is awarded annually a $1,000 "Good Sam" fund to use at their discretion on these cases. We value a culture of belonging and teamwork. The 4-day work week encourages a positive work life balance. We all know horses and small ruminants get sick at all times of the day...To help follow our goals of valuing your personal time and work-life balance we only service our routine current large animal clients, have restricted emergency hours and share after-hour call amongst our team of veterinarians. The emergency fee goes 100% to the on-call veterinarian. The small animal clients are referred to the multiple local emergency clinics after hours.
Our goal is to make our clients an integral part of our health care team through client communication, client educational events such as horse owner meetings, and preventative health care plans. The clinic is very active in the community and participates in numerous community events such as the 5K Police Canine Run/Walk Annual Fundraiser, Kids Vet Camp and Live Nativity held at the clinic.
New grads and experienced vets alike are encouraged to apply New grads can expect guidance and mentorship from our doctors, and experienced veterinarians will enjoy our efficient support team and a chance for leadership. Our excellent support team maintains an well-ordered and enjoyable work environment by delivering exceptional patient care and client service.
