ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that all standards set forth by local, state, and federal agencies are met
  • Rewire and load equipment with appropriate explosive charges under pre-established company and Department of Transportation (DOT) safety procedures
  • Drive truck, deliver equipment, and perform related maintenance duties as needed
  • Maintain inventory of all explosives and radioactive materials with 100% accuracy
  • Complete all paperwork required by company and regulatory agencies when receiving or issuing explosives
  • Load explosives into perforating guns in accordance with company standards
  • Load, store, and transport or prepare for transport all explosives according to local, state, and federal agencies
  • Other duties and projects as assigned
REQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years of related oilfield experience
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must possess a working knowledge of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms (ATF) and applicable state laws
  • Must be able to pass ATF comprehensive background check
  • Must have knowledge and ability to load all types of guns
  • Must have knowledge of applications of explosives used in the wireline business in addition to the types of explosives needed for each specific job
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions in a fast-paced and high-stress environment
  • Must possess exceptional customer service skills
COMPUTER
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
