Emergency Medical TechnicianResponsibilitiesThe purpose of this seasonal position is to provide care and respond to all EMS and First Aid needs for park guests and employees and to ensure quality Patient care through EMS and First Aid GuidelinesProvide medical care, and/or medically related transportation for our employees and GuestsMaintain all equipment and facilities of First AidComplete and maintain medical records and reports to include First Aid reports, STARS data, and GEMSISConduct safety inspections throughout the park as requested by the safety manager including, but not limited, to ride auditsRespond to and mitigate emergency situations as neededEnsure that image, cleanliness and courtesy standards requirements are metMaintain an atmosphere of teamwork and cordiality in working relationshipsResolve Guests' concerns that may arise on a daily basisComplete any and all tasks as requested by managementQUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSApplicants must be licensed by the Georgia State Office of EMS/Trauma as EMT-I, AEMT, EMR or Paramedic, and provide a resume with the applicationValid Driver's LicenseHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredMaintain applicable National Registry certifications (EMT-P, EMT-I, EMT-CT)Excellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to lift, carry, manipulate, and operate medical equipment, in excess of 75 poundsAbility to walk, run, bend, stoop, and crawl on uneven terrainAbility to withstand varied environmental conditions such as extreme heat, cold, moisture, dryness, etc.Ability to perform EMS and occupational functions as requiredBenefitsPay Rate: $12.00 -16.00Free tickets for your family & friendsPromotion opportunitiesScholarship opportunitiesJob and Career Building SkillsFlexible scheduling
