Description

Under supervision of the Nurse Manager (s) and/or Director, provides direct nursing supervision on the unit ensuring comprehensive and quality patient care. The Assistant Nurse Manager assists with day-to-day management of unit operations. This position assists with oversight of clinical and resource utilization, patient throughput, quality assessment and improvement, patient/staff/provider satisfaction, interpretation of policies and procedures, staff education and regulatory compliance. Participates in the selection and evaluation of staff as delegated by the Director and/or Nurse Manager.

Shift Details : Full-time, 40 hours weekly, Variable shift

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of accredited nursing program And
  • Bachelor's Degree Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Higher within 3 years of hire
  • Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 years Acute care nursing.
