Shift: Nights, 6:45p-7:15a, 12x3, 36hrs per week, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Other Details:

  • Unit Systems (Medication, Documentation, Communication): PYXIS, EPIC, SBAR
  • Must Pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
  • Floating required, traveler will work with the CNRO (Centralized Resource Nursing Pool), Float Pool currently covers three separate campuses.
  • Unit does not accept first time travelers
  • Locals accepted
  • Ratios: 1: 3-6, Flex based on patient populations (PCU-M/S). this position will take MS up to PCU depending on needs.

JOB DETAILS:Ratios: 1: 3-6, Flex based on patient populations (PCU-M/S). this position will take MS up to PCU depending on needs.Shift: NIGHTS 36 hours onlyFloat Requirement: Yes, traveler will work with the CNRO(Centralized Resource Nursing Pool),Float Pool currently covers three separate campuses. Majority of shifts will be at the main campus but shift can also be scheduled and New Hanover Orthopedic Hospital and Pender Memorial Hospital. Staff are notified 2hrs before the start of the shift. Candidates will float all medical/Surgical floors, PCU’s, Cardiac floors, Rehab, BHH, PACU, and our inpatient holding space for ED. Candidates will not float to the ICUs unless taking a stepdown or modified assignment with an ICU RN as primary.Weekend Requirement: EVERY OTHER WEEKENDPATIENT DIAGNOSES: Caring for patients across the inpatient spectrum from medical surgical, cardiac, progressive care/step down, and stroke.
