Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Medical Surgical - Overflow Unit 48's

Shift: Nights, 7p-7:30a, 12x4, 48hrs per week, will accept 36hrs, EOW

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

  • MI License
  • Minimum 1 year experience
  • AHA BLS
Others:
  • Will float to other Med Surg units
  • Staffing Ratio 1:5-6 for nightsRatios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support in these instancesVariety of staff work on this unit and other Med/Surg units (i.e RNs, LPNs, Techs, etc).
36 or 48Information Regarding Observation Unit:10 Bed ER OverflowRatios 1:6 at Night; 1:5 at DaysFocus of constant reassessment of readiness of patient for discharge. This unit will be rapidly admitting and discharging patients.

Floating Requirement: Will float to other Med Surg unitsWeekend Requirement: Will work every other weekend.
Information Regarding the Other Med Surg Units:
We all see a good mix of medical patients.Staffing Ratio 1:5-6 for nightsRatios may flex to 8 patients but RN will be paired with LPN for support in these instancesVariety of staff work on this unit and other Med/Surg units (i.e RNs, LPNs, Techs, etc).
Other Requirements: Must be willing to work with variety of staff (i.e., RN, LPN, Techs etc.)Cannot guarantee/approve block scheduling at this time
Michigan RN LicenseBLS (AHA)Minimum 1 year Required.
Floating depends on need- typically float to other units once per week roughly
There is no guarantee that holiday time off requests will be accepted as holidays are usually required.
