CALIBRATION TECHNICIAN

Position Overview:

The Calibration Technician will provide calibration and test support to the engineering department.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Performs calibration according to written procedures on measuring and testing equipment.
  • Performs routine test equipment calibration according to SOP requirements.
  • Equipment repair and maintaining logs and calibration records.
  • Prescribe and implement effective preventative maintenance program to avoid premature failures.
  • Initiates and/or institutes changes to calibration and test procedures.

Required Experience and Education:
  • Associates of Science (AS) or equivalent experience in related field.
  • 2+ years of experience with calibration, inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
  • Must be familiar with Fluke 5520A or 5522A as well as MET TEAM/METCAL.
  • Experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting to the component level is preferred.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members.
  • Able to work well in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, highly organized, computer literate.
  • Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be familiar with Microsoft Office

Pay rate: $27.00 to $30.00 per hour. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
