New Jersey Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Sugery - First Assist

Rhino Medical Services is leading the charge seeking exceptional New Jersey licensed Nurse Practitioners (NPs) available to join our locum tenens roster for an opportunity the great state of New Jersey. We're seeking quality providers with First Assist experience - please see below for more specifics about this opportunity

Opportunity Specifics:

  • Contract Type: Locum Tenens
  • Role: Surgery - First Assist
  • Ideal Schedule: Flexible
  • Shift Times: 7a-7p or 7p-7a

Responsibilities:

  • Work Assignment: General, vascular, thoracic surgical procedures as first assist
  • Outpatient Work: None
  • Patient Load: 3-15 patient encounters per day
  • Types of Patients: Pain, eye, general, plastic, ortho, thoracic, urology, neuro
  • Board Status Requirement: Must be board certified
  • Trauma Level: Not a trauma center
  • EMR System: Allscripts Sunrise Clinical Manager

Candidate Qualifications:

  • License: Active New Jersey State License & Unrestricted DEA
  • Certifications: AANP or ANCC Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Additional Qualifications: BLS, ACLS Certified
  • Experience: 1-2 Years of Recent First Assist Experience
