This is a part-time position - Thursday, 8am-8:30pm, Friday, 7:30am-4pm, and rotating call every 5th-6th weekend.

Job Summary and Qualifications

The MRI Tech performs MR diagnostic procedures as outlined by the Radiologist.

What you will do in this role:

  • Operate diagnostic equipment, process images and prepare room with the necessary equipment and supplies for the procedure.
  • As applicable to the modality the technologist follows the Radiation Protection Program including ALARA, as low as reasonably achievable for patients, physicians, and personnel and is responsible for the protection of patients and staff from the magnetic field.
  • Follow all regulatory compliance for DHEC, Joint Commission, ACR and any regulatory agency governing radiation safety
What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
