Job Summary and QualificationsPerforms those duties directly involved with the completion of all requested procedures of the Imaging Department with regards to Quality and Quantity, providing services to all inpatients and outpatients of all age groups. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff. May be required to work at Ocala Regional Hospital, West Marion Community Hospital, or The Free Standing Emergency Department.
This position requires competence in assessment, treatment, and/or care for the age groups indicated. The staff member must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety, and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served in his/her assigned service area. The skills and knowledge needed to provide such care may be gained through education, training, or experience.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Florida State license with minimum CT qualification
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT) CT within 12 months of hire
- State Registered Radiologic Technician or CT Tech
- Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree
