Experience:

• 24 months of role experience is required.

• 12 months of Intensive Care Unit experience is required.

• 3 months of experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Iowa license or compact license in hand at the time of application.

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Candidates must live at least 60 miles away from this facility in order to be eligible to apply for this role.

Additional Details:

Unit: Downtown ICU

50% weekend; Holiday as needed

Required: IA approved child & dependent adult mandatory reporter

CRRT experience required; Impella desired

EKG needed

Will also respond too hospital wide medical emergency w/ RRT’s as assigned

Radius restriction: none at this time

Previous employees of this and other UI locations cannot “come back” as travelers for 12 months after termination. Mercy IC internal travelers are considered travelers not employees. Therefore, they can apply for contract through UIHC Traveler immediately

UIHC determines their rates quarterly for all agencies and they are non-negotiable. Please check with your Nurse Advocate to confirm whether this position will undergo a rate change during the dates of this assignment.
