Your Role and Responsibilities
THIS ROLE WILL BE ONSITE IN COLORADO SPRINGS COLORADO 3 DAYS A WEEK
***US Citizenship is required for this role. Candidates for consideration must EITHER have a Secret OR Top Secret Clearance ***

Our tightly integrated software development team is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support United States Space Force (USSF) supporting Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch to work onsite at Colorado Springs, CO location. Your direct efforts will enable rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats.

The Opportunity
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the appropriate operational security posture is maintained for an information system and as such, works in close collaboration with the ISSM and ISO.
  • Have thee detailed knowledge and expertise required to manage the security aspects of an information system and, in many organizations, is assigned responsibility for the day-to-day security operations of a system.


Required Technical and Professional Expertise
THIS ROLE WILL BE ONSITE IN COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO 3 DAYS A WEEK.
  • Security Clearance: Pre-existing, Active DoD Secret Clearance.
  • IAT Level II
  • Experience close collaboration with the ISSM and ISO
  • Experience in Risk Management Feedback (RMF) and eMass
  • CISSP OR CISA
Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development or STEM related specialty and 7 years’ related professional experience; Or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, software development, or STEM related specialty and 4 years' related professional experience

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
  • SAFe for Teams certification
  • Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command
  • Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
