Shift: Variable Days / 7a-3:30p, 8a-4:30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, No Weekend

Length: 8 Weeks

Requirements:
  • Minimum 1 year experience required
  • Required some education and training to be allowed to practice (usually national credentials)
  • BLS, ARRT-R

Position / Specialty: Orthopedic X-Ray Tech
Shift: 5x8 Days - 7:00a-3:30p/8:00a-4:30p
Average Daily Census: 35.
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 1 year experience required.
First-timers accepted: Yes if they have an ortho imaging background.
Weekend REQ: No
Certs REQ: ARRT-R and BLS required.
Is on-call REQ? No
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Will float as needed.
Open to accommodating block schedule? No.
Locals accepted: Yes- no radius
Pending License accepted: Yes

Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned Aya Candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay Aya for such cancelled time. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.
Special Requirements: Required Abdomen/ GI X-Ray Experience: Abdomen Supine (KUB), Abdomen upright. Required Chest and Thorax X-Ray Skills/Experience: Chest AP, Chest routine, Upper Airway (soft tissue neck). Siemens experience required. Required Head X-Ray Experience/Skills: Facial Bones, Orbits, Paranasal sinuses, Skull, Temporomandibular joints. Required Lower Extremity X-Ray Skills/Experience: Ankle, Femur, Foot, Knee, Tibia-Fibula. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Infection Prevention, Isolation Precautions, Radiation Safety. Required Spine and Pelvis X-Ray Skills/Experience: Cervical Spine, Hip, Lumbar Spine, Pelvis, Sacrum and/or Coccyx, Thoracic Spine. Required Upper Extremity X-Ray Skills/Experience: Clavicle, Elbow, Forearm, Hand, Scapula, Shoulder, Trauma shoulder or Humerus (Scapular Y, Transthoracic Axial), Wrist.
