Job Summary and QualificationsServes in the capacity of the Electrophysiology Technician; assisting in patient care through procedures. Directly involved in assisting with EP procedures and the development of protocols. Cross trains cath lab staff to EP procedures to achieve a level of comfort in working with the new procedures and meet developed competencies that are developed.
What qualifications you will need:- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Experience working in the Cath Lab as a Technologist required
- Graduate of an accredited program in Cardiovascular Technology required OR a graduate of a degree program in a health science (includes, but not limited to ultrasound, radiologic technology, respiratory therapy, nursing or paramedic) with a current certification or registration required
