  • Required Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response Teams, IV insulin protocols, Blood Product Administration, Central line care/management, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin Protocols, Manage Cardiac drips- no titration, CVA, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleuravac, External CPAP/BIPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Interpretation of ABGs, Nasal Cannula , Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen face masks

Special Procedures/Unit Details:*Peritoneal Dialysis*Telemetry (RN to interpret & document rhythm)*Non-titratable Drips include: Amiodarone, Diltilizem Cardiazem, Amiodarone & Lasix.*Heparin - Heparin drip nursing protocol*Code Team Responders (recorders & time keepers)*Stroke certified unit- Nurse to patient ratio is typically 1:4, but RN should be expected to take 1:5 based on acuity and downgrades- if floated to non tele med surg unit patient ratio is 1:6
