What You'll Do:

  • Determine precise system specifications, I/O processes, and working parameters to ensure seamless hardware/software compatibility
  • Coordinate the design of subsystems and oversee the integration of the entire system, ensuring a cohesive and efficient final product
  • Develop comprehensive configurations for server and system products, considering factors such as performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the product development process, from conceptualization to prototyping and production
  • Optimize system performance and proactively resolve any performance issues that arise, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Prioritize manufacturability, reliability, and serviceability of designs, ensuring that the server platforms meet rigorous industry standards

What You Bring:

  • A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer Science
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in server design, demonstrating a strong track record of successful project execution
  • Deep understanding of x86 system architecture, enabling you to make informed design decisions
  • Robust technical knowledge and expertise in executing complex platform development projects
  • Comprehensive understanding of system-level server platforms and the interplay between their components
  • Proficiency in board-level development, with the ability to design and optimize hardware systems
  • Strong comprehension of hardware and system software interactions, coupled with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
  • Proactive orientation towards seizing opportunities and identifying potential problems
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key elements of a situation and develop innovative solutions
  • Collaborative, flexible, and adaptable mindset, fostering a cooperative work environment
