Job Summary and QualificationsPerforms those duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures and radiology modalities. Applies ionizing radiation for the purpose of detecting pathology. Regulates the equipment used to acquire images, expose x-ray film, develops and organizes films. Operates equipment safely and maintains ALARA standards while performing all types of procedures within the scope of the A.R.R.T. Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and medical staff.
What qualifications you will need:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Other-Fingerprint Required
- Registered Computerized Tomography Technician
- Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)
- State Registered Radiologic Technician
- Registered Radiographer (ARRT)
